Family, Heart, and a Gas Station
JT's Classic Eats is a business founded on strong family roots. Growing up, I was fortunate to have wonderful family role models who taught me that I could accomplish anything with hard work and determination. My grandparents, A.R. and MaryAnn Charnes were always strong supporters. As the oldest grandchild, I am fortunate to still have my grandfather in my life. His wisdom and guidance has helped guide me as an entrepreneur. Unfortunately, on March 21, 2022, my grandmother (Maga) tragically passed away suddenly while on a "bucket list" trip to South America. She was the matriarch of our family and always led with her beautiful smile, determination, and philosophy of, "If it's meant to be, it's meant to be!" I know that she is watching over me and realizing that my first restaurant was MEANT TO BE! Her picture hangs by our register, as well as her guiding quote. Maga is forever in our hearts and her love, guidance and wisdom will preside over this venture and all there is to come!
